Security Guard - Full-Time & Part-Time Taurus Protection Inc. is hiring licensed Security Guards for multiple assignments throughout the Santa Barbara area. We currently have full-time morning, swing, and graveyard positions available, as well as part-time evening work.

Pay:

Starting at $21.00 per hour - $22.00 per hour Higher pay may be available for applicants with qualifying experience or advanced certifications

Available Full-Time Shifts:

Morning:

6:00 AM-2:00

PM Swing:

2:00 PM-10:00

PM Graveyard:

10:00 PM-6:00

AM Available Part-Time Shift:

Wednesday through Sunday 6:00 PM-10:00 PM Four-hour shifts

Minimum Requirements:

Current and valid California BSIS Guard Card Reliable transportation Dependable, punctual, and professional Ability to communicate clearly and complete written reports Ability to remain alert and perform assigned security duties throughout the shift Must be available for the shift listed on your application Qualifications for

Higher Pay:

Applicants may qualify for a higher hourly rate by providing documentation of one or more of the following: Prior military service Current and valid concealed carry weapon permit (CCW) Advanced medical training or certifications, such as EMT, TCCC, First Responder, or equivalent Additional relevant security, law-enforcement, or specialized training Supporting documentation or current certifications will be required before a higher rate is approved.

Primary Responsibilities:

Monitor assigned properties and designated areas Maintain a visible and professional security presence Conduct regular patrols Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and policy violations Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports Follow site-specific post orders and company procedures Contact management or emergency services when required
