As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications facility. Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required access-control documentation in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, equipment areas, and parking areas to identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations. Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications while supporting a professional environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
