Job Description

Retail Security Officer -
Santa Fe Springs Key Responsibilities:
Patrol Duties:
Conduct regular foot and/or vehicle patrols of the entire property including parking lots, storefronts, and common areas. Monitor for suspicious activity, vandalism, theft, and safety hazards. Ensure doors, gates, and access points are properly secured.
Customer & Tenant Assistance:
Greet shoppers and tenants in a professional and friendly manner. Provide directions or assistance to visitors as needed. Serve as a visible deterrent to criminal or disruptive behavior.
Incident Response & Reporting:
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and calls for service. De-escalate conflicts and manage incidents calmly and effectively. Write detailed, accurate daily activity reports and incident reports.
Surveillance Monitoring:
Monitor CCTV systems, if applicable. Report and log any irregularities or maintenance concerns.
Policy Enforcement:
Enforce property rules and local regulations. Address unauthorized loitering, solicitation, or overnight parking. Are you interested in working for us!
