$23.00 Job Summary Capstone Security is seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-service-oriented Security Officer to provide a safe and secure environment at a healthcare clinic. We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our healthcare facility, ensuring the safety and security of patients, staff, visitors, and property. This position requires excellent communication skills, sound judgement, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and compassion. Duties Conduct regular patrols of the clinic premises, including patient areas, entrances, and restricted zones, to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks Operate access control systems to verify credentials and manage entry for staff, visitors, and vendors Utilize CCTV surveillance equipment for continuous monitoring of the facility's security cameras, ensuring all areas are secure and any suspicious activity is promptly addressed Respond swiftly to emergency situations by implementing emergency response procedures such as first aid, CPR, AED operation, or fire safety protocols Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events with clarity and accuracy Perform background checks on new staff or vendors as part of the clinic's security protocols Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining safety for all parties involved Requirements Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields preferred Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation and Taser use is highly desirable Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, surveillance techniques, and physical security measures Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for emergency response or equipment management Strong skills in incident report writing with attention to detail and clarity Familiarity with emergency response procedures including fire safety protocols and conflict management strategies Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with patients and visitors Physical fitness to perform patrolling duties and respond effectively in high-pressure situations Compliance with all security regulations and protocols relevant to healthcare environments Join us in creating a safe haven where health meets security!
