You will maintain a high visibility presence while ensuring the Resort policies are abided by regarding entrance to the Resort, wearing guest wrist bands, directing flow of traffic, vehicle parking, parking tags, noise levels, camp site etiquette, pet policy (leash/clean up). Responsibilities Maintain a safe and secure environment for our guests and employees Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences. Report in detail any suspicious incidents. Patrol hourly buildings, camping sites and perimeter. Monitor and control access at resort gate. Assist as needed with guest services (delivering wood to a campsite using the golf cart, set up and break down of speakers for weekend events, and other guest courtesies). Verify check out times are adhered to Direct guests during check ins After hour check-ins and check outs, including taking payments. Be familiar with the lighting and water system shut offs on the property. Other duties as necessary to maintain the Resort high standard of guest services. Skills Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols Ability to address guest with professionalism and integrity Surveillance skills and detail orientation Ability to drive a golf cart Withstand weather and elements RV or Camping knowledge preferred High school diploma
