Day Time Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, managing visitor entry, and maintaining required access records. Inspect inbound and outbound traffic, vehicles, and/or shipments in accordance with site procedures to help protect personnel, property, and operations. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations to appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.Minimum Requirements:
At least one year of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
