Full-Time Pay:
$25.00 per hour Schedule- 40 Hours Per Week
- 6:00 PM
- 2:00 AM
- 7:30 PM
- 3:30 AM
- Schedule may fall on any day of the week based on operational requirements.
- Maintain a visible and approachable security presence throughout assigned areas.
- Conduct walking patrols around passenger areas, facilities, loading zones, and surrounding grounds.
- Monitor activity and identify conditions that could affect safety or normal operations.
- Watch for suspicious behavior, hazards, unauthorized activity, or violations of established procedures.
- Help maintain an orderly environment during busy passenger periods.
- Follow assigned post orders and location-specific instructions. Passenger & Staff Assistance
- Provide courteous assistance to passengers when questions or concerns arise.
- Offer basic directions and information within the scope of the assignment.
- Assist drivers and employees when security-related concerns develop.
- Maintain respectful communication with passengers, staff, and members of the public.
- Use calm communication to help prevent minor disagreements from becoming larger issues.
- Notify the appropriate personnel when concerns require additional assistance. Incident Response
- Respond promptly to disturbances, safety concerns, emergencies, and unusual activity.
- Assess situations and determine when supervisors or emergency services should be contacted.
- Maintain a safe position and help protect affected areas while awaiting additional assistance.
- Follow established emergency procedures and client instructions.
- Use professional verbal communication and de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
- Provide supervisors with timely information regarding significant incidents. Reporting & Communication
- Complete daily activity reports accurately and on time.
- Prepare incident reports when required.
- Document unusual activity, safety concerns, disturbances, and other noteworthy events.
- Record relevant details and actions taken during incidents.
- Maintain communication with supervisors throughout assigned shifts.
- Provide accurate information during shift transitions and follow-up discussions. Required Qualifications
- Ability to successfully complete all required background screening.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and conduct.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to remain composed when dealing with difficult or unexpected situations.
- Ability to work independently while following established procedures.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods during assigned shifts.
- Ability to work evening and overnight hours consistently.
- Basic computer skills and ability to complete electronic or written reports. Preferred Qualifications
- Previous security, customer service, hospitality, transportation, or public-facing experience.
- Experience working in busy public environments.
- Familiarity with security patrol procedures.
- Experience documenting incidents or completing daily activity reports.
- Strong conflict-resolution and verbal de-escalation skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with a wide range of passengers and employees.
