Schedule:
Thursday to Saturday | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Position Summary Citadel Security USA is seeking a dependable Armed Mobile Security Officer to provide overnight protection for critical infrastructure facilities in the Dillon area. This position combines mobile patrol, gate security, and roving security responsibilities to help safeguard restricted properties, personnel, and critical assets. This role is ideal for security professionals who are comfortable working independently, remain alert throughout overnight shifts, and can make sound decisions while performing vehicle and foot patrols. Primary Responsibilities Mobile & Roving Patrol Conduct scheduled vehicle patrols across multiple assigned locations. Perform foot inspections of buildings, parking areas, gates, and perimeter fencing. Check for signs of unauthorized access, safety hazards, or suspicious activity. Maintain a highly visible security presence throughout assigned patrol routes. Gate Security Operations Monitor controlled access points and verified authorized entry. Observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering and leaving secure areas. Follow established visitor verification and access control procedures. Report unauthorized entry attempts or security concerns immediately. Incident Response Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or unusual activity. Secure affected areas until additional assistance arrives when necessary. Follow client procedures and company policies during security incidents. Coordinate professionally with supervisors, emergency responders, and client representatives. Documentation & Communication Complete accurate patrol logs, activity reports, and incident documentation. Record security concerns, operational issues, and observations during each shift. Maintain consistent communication with dispatch and management. Ensure all required reports are completed before the end of each shift. Required Qualifications Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Personal firearm suitable for duty use. Current armed security qualifications and certifications required. Ability to legally possess and carry a firearm in accordance with applicable laws. Strong observation, communication, and decision-making skills. Ability to work overnight shifts in varying weather conditions. Professional demeanor and dependable attendance. Preferred Qualifications Previous armed security, mobile patrol, military, or law enforcement experience. Experience protecting critical infrastructure or secure facilities. Familiarity with access control procedures and patrol reporting. Strong conflict resolution and situational awareness skills. Work Environment Combination of vehicle patrol and walking patrol assignments. Outdoor work in changing weather conditions, including mountain environments. Overnight schedule requiring continuous alertness. Regular interaction with client personnel, contractors, and authorized visitors.
