Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and experienced Security Site Supervisor to be responsible for overseeing the security operations of the assigned portfolio. The Site Supervisor will work closely with the Operations team to communicate site-specific updates, support security officers, and help ensure a consistently high level of service. This position will also work directly with client representatives to help ensure their safety and security needs are being met. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can maintain a professional and visible presence, support and coach security officers, communicate effectively with clients and management, and respond calmly and compassionately to challenging situations. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support security officers assigned to the site. Communicate site-specific updates and expectations to security personnel. Check in with newly assigned officers to ensure they are properly prepared and equipped to perform their duties. Maintain regular communication with officers to provide support, address concerns, and promote job satisfaction. Help ensure adequate staffing and cross-trained personnel are available to respond to unexpected staffing needs or emergencies. Liaise professionally with client representatives to ensure satisfaction with security services. Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout the facility. Conduct regular patrols to help ensure the safety and security of staff, patients, visitors, and property. Assist with maintaining a safe and secure environment within the healthcare facility. Provide professional and compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other members of the hospital community. Respond appropriately to individuals experiencing distress, behavioral concerns, or aggression. Utilize effective communication and de-escalation techniques when managing challenging or potentially aggressive situations. Provide appropriate supervision and support for at-risk patients in accordance with site procedures. Identify and communicate security concerns, operational issues, and opportunities for improvement to management. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous healthcare security experience required; supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to remain calm, professional, and empathetic during stressful situations. Strong judgment and problem-solving abilities. Ability to effectively lead, coach, and support security personnel. Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and integrity. Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with management and clients. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to maintain a visible presence and conduct regular facility patrols. Ability to respond promptly to security incidents and emergency situations.
