26-27 School Year The Safety and Security Department is currently looking for an Armed Campus Security Officer to work District-Wide for the 2026-27 school year. Under general supervision from the Director of Safety and Security, this position performs duties as a working lead overseeing the operation of all campus events and study hall programs. This position is responsible for the security of the main entrance to various district campuses plus all areas patrolled, while discouraging inappropriate behavior, plant/facility security, visitor activities, parking and traffic control, student detention, and to perform related work as required. The starting hourly wage for this position is $22.89 to $24.71 depending on previous experience. Applications will be reviewed as they are received and this position will remain open until filled. All employees are eligible for participation in the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Account, PERA. Full-time employees, employed at least thirty hours per week, of Lewis-Palmer School District are eligible for health insurance plans that include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
