Wednesday & Thursday About the Role We're looking for a professional Security Officer to work in a healthcare environment in New Milford. In this role, you'll help protect patients, staff, visitors, and property, while supporting a calm and safe atmosphere. Key Responsibilities Monitor entrances, exits, and overall facility activity Conduct regular patrols of interior and exterior areas Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance Complete clear and accurate incident and daily activity reports Enforce site policies and procedures in a fair and respectful manner Work closely with healthcare staff and follow site-specific protocols Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service Requirements 18 years of age or older High school diploma or GED Ability to pass background check and drug screening (per company policy) Strong communication and observation skills Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and respond quickly in emergencies Reliable transportation to and from the site Prior security, military, law enforcement, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required What We Offer Competitive pay at $18.50/hour Full-time schedule (40 hours/week) Consistent overnight shift: Friday-Tuesday, 10:30 PM-6:30 AM Weekly pay (if applicable locally) Uniform provided (per company policy) Training for the healthcare environment and site-specific procedures We help make your world a safer place.
