We are seeking professional, vigilant, and customer-service-oriented Unarmed Security Officers for our upcoming fall seasonal haunted attraction. In this role, you will serve as the first line of safety, ensuring our guests enjoy a fun, thrilling, and safe environment. Your primary responsibilities include guest screening at entry points, monitoring attraction zones for safety violations, and enforcing venue policies with a calm, authoritative presence. Key Responsibilities Conduct entry-point security screenings of event attendees, including bag checks, metal detection wanding, and enforcing prohibited items policies. Patrol assigned attraction areas, pathways, and queue lines to deter prohibited behaviors, vandalism, or unauthorized entry. Monitor guest flow and ensure compliance with venue safety rules, code of conduct, and emergency procedures. Identify and de-escalate potential conflicts or disruptive behavior calmly and professionally. Assist in crowd management during peak hours, park opening, and closing procedures. Coordinate with attraction staff, medical personnel, and local law enforcement when incidents occur. Submit detailed incident reports for safety violations, medical calls, or ejections at the end of each shift.

Requirements & Qualifications Certification:

Must possess an active Security Guard Card (minimum Yellow Card certification required).

Availability:

Must have open availability Thursday through Sunday evenings for the duration of the fall season (including select holidays/peak weekends). Assignments could extend past the holiday season.

Experience:

Prior experience in security, event staff, crowd control, or customer-facing safety roles preferred.

Communication:

Strong interpersonal and verbal de-escalation skills to interact effectively with diverse crowds.

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand, walk, and remain on your feet for extended periods (6-8+ hours) in outdoor, dark, high-stimulus, and variable fall weather conditions.

Pay:

$25.00 per hour
