A Security Officer provides security for property at hospitals, hotels, warehouses or office buildings. Monitors entrances and patrols buildings, watches for intruders or vandals; reports building maintenance problems; deals with customers or visitors that create a disturbance in the building.
$16.00/HR This role will help to maintain the accuracy of the guests/visitors/clients coming into and leaving the facility. Please see the responsibilities listed below: Logging inbound and outbound trucks, controlling/limiting access to the facility at the entry points to include visitor sign-in/out logs, issuing identification badges, etc. Capable of walking to and from guard shack to trucks/be very agile Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time when required. Able to use a keyboard to correctly input information accurately and efficiently into software programs. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, including the proper use of grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Patrol the interior/exterior of the property on foot. Monitor and be able to respond to emergencies including medical, fire, and weather-related situations. Be able to remain awake, alert, and attentive while on duty. Possess the ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities alone and often simultaneously. Be able to follow verbal and written directions from client personnel and Prosegur Supervisory/Management personnel. Answer, screen, and route phone calls to the appropriate parties. Be courteous, polite, and professional in dealing with our customers, and their employees, visitors and vendors. Be able to perform other security related duties as assigned.
