Overview Join our dynamic security team as a Security Officer and become the frontline protector of our facilities, assets, and personnel! This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure safety through vigilant surveillance, proactive conflict management, and emergency response. As a Security Officer, you will be instrumental in maintaining a secure environment by implementing comprehensive security protocols, conducting patrols, and collaborating with law enforcement when necessary. Your dedication will help foster a safe, welcoming space for everyone on site. Duties Monitor premises continuously using CCTV systems and conduct regular patrols to identify potential security risks or breaches Control access points by verifying credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the facility Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents or alarms, providing immediate assistance and escalating issues to law enforcement or emergency services when required Conduct thorough inspections of the property to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating disputes and maintaining order in high-pressure scenarios Administer first aid or CPR in emergency situations until professional medical help arrives Complete detailed incident reports and shift logs accurately to document security activities and incidents for future reference Qualifications Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques including CCTV operation and monitoring systems Certified in first aid and CPR; additional certifications such as conflict management or loss prevention are a plus Familiarity with security protocols, access control procedures, and emergency response plans Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail and situational awareness Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing conflicts effectively Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond swiftly during emergencies Join us as a Security Officer and be part of a passionate team dedicated to safeguarding our community!
