The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. The Armed Security Officer will be expected to respond to incidents, enforce security policies, and provide excellent customer service while ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises. Duties Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure the safety of the facility. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action as necessary. Conduct thorough inspections of premises and report any security breaches or hazards. Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the well-being of individuals in distress. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes. Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations. Qualifications Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or a related field is preferred. Valid armed security officer certification is required. Proficiency in surveillance techniques and loss prevention practices. Knowledge of first aid and CPR; certification is a plus. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to pass background checks and meet any state licensing requirements.
