Officers assist with visitor support, respond to incidents and emergencies, protect restricted areas, and complete accurate incident documentation. Unarmed officers must hold a valid Class D license. Armed officers must hold a valid Class G license and follow all firearm safety and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Protect proactively the client's employees, facilities and assets in order to prevent damage and loss. Adherence to clients and company's regulations and expectations to ensure compliance and good legal and ethical standings. Adherence to federal, state and local laws, regulations and ordinances to ensure compliance and good legal Ability to respond to a variety of emergencies/ crisis situations and provide the necessary intervention to restore normal conditions and notify the proper persons. Qualifications Education:
Requires four-year high school graduate or G.E.D equivalent.
Licensure/Certification:
Requires State of Florida Class D and or G Security License.
Relevant Experience:
Preferred one-year work experience with preferred experience in a security, law enforcement, military and/ or public safety or customer service field.
Skills and Abilities:
Must be knowledgeable of security methods and practices, have public relations/ Customer service experience with proven experience in responding to emergencies/ crisis situations. Physical Demands Ability to walk, climb stairs, and stand for up to 12 hours Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, pulling) Ability to assist in subduing and restraining combative subjects.
