As an Access Control Security Professional at a residential community, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying visitors and credentials, managing access, and responding to security-related concerns. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
