We are seeking a dependable, professional, and customer-service-oriented Residential Security Officer to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our residents, guests, and staff. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, interacting with people, and taking pride in protecting a residential community. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols throughout the property Monitor parking areas and enforce Association parking policies Issue parking permits and warning notices as directed Respond to resident and guest concerns professionally Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and maintenance issues Complete incident reports and daily activity logs Monitor entrances, common areas, pools, and recreational facilities Assist emergency responders when necessary Lock and unlock designated facilities according to schedule Provide outstanding customer service to residents, guests, contractors, and vendors Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout each shift QualificationsRequired High school diploma or GED Valid Florida driver's license Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Basic computer and smartphone proficiency Ability to remain calm and professional in all situations Ability to walk the property for extended periods and work outdoors in Florida weather Ability to pass a drug test Preferred Florida Class D Security License Previous residential, condominium, hotel, hospitality, military, or law enforcement experience CPR/First Aid certification Experience writing incident reports We're Looking For Someone Who Is Honest and dependable Friendly and approachable Observant and detail-oriented Professional in appearance and demeanor Comfortable enforcing rules respectfully Able to exercise good judgment Reliable and punctual Schedule Shifts may include: Days Evenings Weekends Holidays Additional hours may be available during season or special events.
