Job Title:

Security Officer Duties:

• Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Protect property and assets by implementing security measures and protocols
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to identify potential security threats
• Respond to emergencies, such as medical incidents or security breaches, and take appropriate action
• Conduct security checks of individuals and vehicles entering or leaving the premises
• Enforce access control procedures and ensure only authorized personnel are allowed entry
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proven experience as a security officer or in a related field preferred
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification strongly desired
• Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques
• Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and protocols
• Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Attention to detail and the ability to observe, assess, and report accurately
