AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and support site operations. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and emergency responders as directed. Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations, and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
At least two years of security-related experience is required. Supervisory experience is required. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
