Job Description

ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW
Security Alliance is currently seeking highly professional, dependable, and experienced Level II Security Officers for a temporary high-visibility security assignment at the University of Miami, Coral Gables Campus. This assignment requires officers capable of operating in a professional campus environment while maintaining strict security protocols and clear communication with the University of Miami Police Department (UMPD), authorized personnel, vendors, and staff. Officers must maintain a professional appearance, excellent situational awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Valid Florida Class "D" Security License Level II qualification preferred Previous security experience required Strong communication and report writing skills Must be fluent in English Ability to communicate clearly via radio with UMPD and supervisory staff Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Flexible availability including weekends, overnights, and holidays Clean background check and drug screening required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior campus, law enforcement, military, or high-visibility, 2-year security experience Experience with access control operations Leadership or rover experience preferred for exterior rover positions Emergency Response Team (ERT) experience strongly preferred
