Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Flex Security Officer to join our team at the Four Corners/Davenport location. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through comprehensive physical security measures, surveillance, and emergency response procedures. Your expertise in law enforcement, military experience, or security operations will be essential in protecting personnel, property, and assets. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches. Operate access control systems to authorize or deny entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors. Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe and report on activities around the facility. Respond swiftly to emergencies by executing fire safety protocols, first aid procedures, AED operation, and emergency response plans. Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events with clarity and accuracy. Perform background checks on new employees or visitors as part of the screening process. Manage conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management strategies to handle difficult situations professionally. Requirements Proven experience in security operations, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a focus on physical security and surveillance. Valid certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Taser use preferred. Strong knowledge of incident report writing, emergency response procedures, and compliance with security regulations. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for patrols or equipment management. Familiarity with access control systems and performing background checks for personnel screening. Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict de-escalation abilities to maintain a positive environment while ensuring safety. Physical fitness to stand, walk extensively during patrols, and respond quickly in high-pressure situations.
