Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Mortuary Patrol in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Hospital Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas throughout a healthcare location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors through professional communication, respond to incidents including sensitive areas and behavioral situations, and deliver exceptional customer service. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.

Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel as needed.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.

Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access as directed, and maintaining awareness of visitor and contractor activity.

Document patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.

Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.

Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.

A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
