Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Secures premises and personnel by providing general security and minor janitorial services working the night shift from 11:00pm to 7:00am to Enforce the rules and regulations for the property. Assist guests and owners with general questions, or immediate concerns.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB 1.
Perform periodic and continual security checks throughout the property, interior and exterior, to deter and detect violations and criminal activities, maintaining visibility and alertness at all times. Inform guests of POA rules and regulations if violations occur. Police pool deck for after hour unauthorized use. 2. Inspect the building for damage and functionality (e.g., water leaks, blown lightbulbs, etc.). Report issues to POA Office. 3. Clean any spills or leaks to prevent injuries or damage to property. 4. Perform basic afterhours janitorial duties (Cleaning of pool bathrooms and others as needed, trash removal, straighten furniture, clean/mop floors, etc.) 5. Interact with property owners, guests, vendors, and the public in a courteous, professional manner. 6. Become familiar with the SBT Rules & Regulations and enforce them in a kind and respectful manner. Report noncompliance to POA Office. 7. Assist owners and guests with questions or concerns. 8. Respond to emergency call requests from owners and guests (e.g., smoke detectors going off, emergency plumbing issues, lockouts, etc.) 9. Assist emergency vehicles and personnel that arrive on property. 10. Positive, helpful, friendly attitude required. Teamwork and respect amongst all association staff is required. Attendance as scheduled is required. Clean uniforms must be worn. 11. Practice and always promote safety, reporting potential safety issues or injuries immediately. 12. Use patrol log and QR codes to document patrols and work activities, to include violations and security concerns. 13. Perform other duties as assigned from time to time. Skills and Requirements Positive, helpful, friendly attitude and excellent interpersonal skills required. Florida Class D (unarmed security) License preferred. 1-2 Years of Customer Service experience preferred. 1-2 Years of Security experience preferred. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently, make decisions, and stay calm under pressure. Ability to perform the physical requirements and maintain stamina to walk and stand for long periods of time. Consent to pre-employment and random drug screening and background investigation required. Education High School Degree or equivalent Physical Requirements Frequent (75% of the time or more): Sight, Hear, Speak, Walk, Stand, Bend, Twist Moderate (25% of the time or more): Push, Pull, Lift Occasional (less than 25% of the time):
