An Armed Security Officer provides security for property at hospitals, hotels, warehouses or office buildings. Have a license to carry a weapon ranging from a club to a firearm. Monitors entrances and patrols buildings, watches for intruders or vandals; reports building maintenance problems; deals with customers or visitors that create a disturbance in the building.

Gatehouse Operations Mobile Patrol Tactical / Surveillance Operations Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Conducting foot and vehicle patrols Monitoring CCTV and security systems Controlling access points and verifying entry authorization Responding to alarms, suspicious activity, and emergencies Maintaining a professional and visible security presence Preparing accurate incident and activity reports Assisting residents, guests, and staff with professionalism and courtesy Maintaining gatehouse and patrol vehicle cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness This is NOT a "sit in a chair and watch a screen" type of assignment.
