We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team in the area of North Kendall Drive . The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for a school. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, managing conflicts, and responding to emergencies. Candidates must have their own firearm, related equipment and able to start immediately!

Post:
The post is a religious institution and private day school. Duties may include gate operations, access control, conducting patrols and submitting various reports throughout your shift. Responsibilities Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Monitor CCTV systems and respond promptly to any incidents or alarms. Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor. Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations. Manage conflicts effectively, employing conflict management techniques. Conduct thorough inspections of premises to ensure security measures are in place. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary. Document incidents accurately and prepare reports as required. Skills Proven experience in law enforcement or military background preferred. Strong knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques. Proficiency in operating surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable. Ability to assess situations quickly and make sound decisions. Strong observational skills with attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.Compensation :

Minimum Requirements:
Must have a well-groomed and professional appearance Must be able to work in an outdoor environment in various weather conditions Must have at least two years of verifiable security experience Must have a valid Class D and Class G Security Officer License Must have your own firearm and related equipment Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation and drug screening Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferredSecurity Officer Benefits :
