Position Overview:

We are hiring dependable and professional Flex Security Officers to support multiple client locations on an as-needed basis. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible, supplemental income, including those with other jobs, school schedules, or semi-retired professionals. Officers are offered shifts as they become available and may choose assignments that fit their availability. Hours vary week to week, with opportunities for up to 40 hours.

What You'll Do:

Provide security coverage across various client sites Conduct patrols and maintain a visible presence Monitor access control and enforce site policies Respond to incidents and emergencies Complete reports and documentation Deliver professional customer service

What We're Looking For:

Dependable and responsive when accepting shifts Flexible availability (evenings, overnights, and weekends a plus) Ability to work at different locations as needed Reliable transportation Strong communication and problem-solving skills Professional appearance and attitude

Requirements:

Active Florida Class D Security License High school diploma or equivalent Must pass background check and drug screening Must own a smartphone for clocking in, reporting, and communication. Must have reliable transportation (personal vehicle required) and a 1 driver's license with a clean driving record.

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-12 hours) Ability to conduct foot patrols, including stair climbing Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including in heat and humidity Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds as needed

Additional Details:

Pay varies by assignment and is confirmed prior to each shift Officers may accept or decline shifts based on availability No guaranteed hours; ideal for supplemental or flexible work Opportunities for consistent hours may be available based on performance and availability
