Shift Schedule Responsibilities Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety. Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, to deter theft and unauthorized access. Manage access control by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by applying conflict management skills and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when needed. Perform safety checks and provide first aid or CPR if necessary to assist injured individuals until professional help arrives. Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or security breaches and implementing preventative measures. Requirements Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and familiarity with loss prevention techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure during emergencies. Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods during overnight shifts. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with team members, visitors, and emergency responders. Prior experience with security systems or law enforcement background is a plus.
