Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify and address security vulnerabilities and ensure physical security measures are in place. Manage access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors. Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies following established emergency response procedures. Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events accurately and thoroughly. Perform background checks on new hires or visitors as required to ensure compliance with security protocols. Utilize law enforcement techniques when necessary to de-escalate conflicts or manage confrontations effectively. Operate firearms, Tasers, AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), and other security equipment following safety guidelines. Provide first aid and CPR assistance in medical emergencies while coordinating with emergency services. Conduct thorough searches using manual handling techniques while adhering to safety standards during searches or heavy lifting tasks. Requirements Proven experience in security roles, military service, law enforcement, or related fields is highly preferred. Valid certification in firearm handling, Taser use, first aid, CPR, AED operation, and conflict de-escalation techniques. Knowledge of surveillance systems, access control systems, fire safety protocols, and physical security measures. Ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough patrolling activities efficiently. Strong communication skills for incident report writing and conflict management with diverse audiences. Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting and prolonged patrols; capable of standing or walking for extended periods. Demonstrated ability to respond calmly under pressure during emergencies or high-stress situations.
