Description The Global Security Operations Center Lead Operator assists in leading a multi person shift under the direction of the GSOC Supervisor and Manager. The GSOC Lead Operator will act as the subject matter expert in all processes within the GSOC and will provide guidance and make decisions in the absence of a supervisor during assigned shifts. Will assist the GSOC Supervisor in ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained and with daily team briefings. Responsible for assisting with the supervision of personnel to include staff development, training, and assigning duties during assigned shifts. Ensures effective monitoring of all security operations including access control, surveillance monitoring and alarm functions. Responsible for assisting the GSOC operators with intake duties and effectively prioritizes and dispatches the appropriate security and/or emergency personnel as dictated by emergency or non-emergency situations. In addition to meeting the full range of operational GSOC requirements, Lead Operators will assume responsibility for overseeing all processes and incidents during shifts and will assist the GSOC leadership in ensuring compliance with established guidelines, procedures, and policies. Estimated pay range for this position is $18.69 - $23.74 / hour depending on experience.
Qualifications Degrees:
High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
Licenses & Certifications:
Florida Drivers License (Class E Non-Commercial).
Additional Qualifications:
Associates degree is preferred, degree may be substituted with relevant experience. Minimum 2 years' experience in Security, Law Enforcement, or Military telecommunications or other Global Security Operations Center environment. Intermediate computer proficiency with MS Office required. Excellent working knowledge of security systems in regards to access control, alarm monitoring, CCTV systems, and radio communications. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work with little to no supervision. Ability to work in a team environment and give direction and guidance to employees during emergencies. Effective at prioritizing and multi-tasking. Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly, both verbally and in writing, in the English language. Must successfully complete the BHSF Communications Officer program within the first 90 days of employment. Valid Florida Driver's License or State issued Identification required.
