PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public emergency services as directed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; document visitor activity, incidents, and unusual conditions through accurate reports. Maintain readiness to perform assigned armed post duties in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, site procedures, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent. Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Possess an armed guard card or license. Possess a college degree. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a corrections officer license. Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate. Possess a law enforcement officer license. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
