Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Access Control Officer to join our team on Mondays and Thursdays from 3 PM to 11 PM, as well as Saturdays and Sundays from 3 PM to 11 PM. In this role, you will be responsible for managing entry points, conducting surveillance, and ensuring the safety of the premises through vigilant monitoring and adherence to security protocols. Your proactive approach will help maintain a secure environment while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at designated entry points Conduct thorough background checks and perform identity verification procedures Monitor surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches Respond promptly to emergency situations following established procedures Write detailed incident reports for any security-related occurrences Perform patrolling duties around the premises to ensure physical security integrity Operate access control systems accurately and maintain security logs Experience Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military roles is preferred Knowledge of surveillance equipment and access control systems is highly desirable Training in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety is a plus Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting when necessary Strong conflict management and de-escalation skills Familiarity with emergency response procedures and incident report writing Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor Join us at Ramco Protective to be part of a dependable team dedicated to safeguarding assets through vigilant security practices. Pay:
