About This Position Access Control:

Gatehouse security officers monitor and control who enters and exits the premises. They verify the identity of individuals and ensure they have the proper authorization to access the facility.

Surveillance Monitoring:

Officers are responsible for monitoring security systems, including CCTV cameras and alarms, to detect and respond to suspicious activities promptly.

Visitor Management:

They manage visitor logs, issue passes, and ensure that all visitors are accounted for, which is essential for security audits and investigations.

Emergency Response:

Gatehouse security personnel must be prepared to respond to emergencies, coordinating with emergency services and implementing lockdown procedures if necessary.

Customer Service:

Providing excellent customer service is crucial, as security officers often serve as the first point of contact for visitors. They should maintain a professional demeanor and assist guests as needed.
