The schools are located in various counties within the greater Brevard/Melbourne area.

Qualifications:

Valid Florida D&G License Preferred prior law enforcement, military, or armed security experience Demonstrated proficiency and safe handling of assigned firearm Ability to pass a thorough FBI criminal background check and drug screening Medical response training (first aid, CPR, stop the bleed) Experience with physical security measures (surveillance, access control, alarms) Strong threat identification and de-escalation skills

Key Responsibilities :

Maintain a visible, active security presence on school grounds Patrol and monitor access points, conduct security checks Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement security protocols Provide security guidance and support to students and staff Maintain firearm proficiency and adhere to safety and legal standards Identify security vulnerabilities and recommend improvements Apply de-escalation techniques to manage conflicts Conduct regular security assessments and stay current on best practices and legislation
