Job Description As a Security Guard Patrol Observation in Pensacola, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and youth. You will support a welcoming environment through attentive observation, routine reporting, and exceptional customer service. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and youth at a government juvenile services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, behavioral concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation. Maintain a professional presence while interacting respectfully with youth, staff, visitors, and public-service personnel in a potentially dynamic environment.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. CPR certification is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
