As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol Driver in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Security Officer, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols throughout a dynamic property, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to guests and team members. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and event attendees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access to assigned areas, verify authorized entry as directed, and report unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting emergency services when directed. Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
