Job Description
1. Provides protection of life and property; actively, thoroughly, and unpredictably patrols the greater campus area on foot and by vehicle. 2. Detects and reports violations of local, state, and federal law and violations of health system policy in a timely manner; actively monitors compliance and enforces parking control policy. 3. Handles morgue access and morgue related activities, including required recordkeeping and some interaction with families/next of kin, funeral homes, and the coroner's office. 4. Maintains lost and found items, valuables handling and storage, and issues/collects hospital keys to/from authorized persons. 5. Responds to and actively participates in crisis intervention situations. 6. Implements directives from the Public Safety Officer and Department Manager. 7. Performs report writing and light clerical duties. 8. Completes other duties as assigned.
