Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises and personnel. Responsibilities Provides excellent customer service Patrol indoor and outdoor areas regularly. Control access points for visitors and staff. Respond immediately to security breaches or emergencies. Enforce property regulations and safety precautions Provide a visible presence that deters illegal activities Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances Prevents losses and damage by reporting: Irregularities, informing violators of policies Provides CT's to trespassers Preserves order and able to identify and resolve any situation Reports any facility issues Required Job Qualifications Must be Punctual High School Diploma or Equivalent Current/valid Georgia Driver's License and an insurable driving history Reliable transportation Ability to pass background and drug tests. Able to meet required certifications and/or licensing requirements for Armed Security Guard before end of probationary period Physical capability to stand for long periods. Strong verbal communication and de-escalation skills. Complete end of shift reports One-year security experience, military, or law enforcement-a plus Public relations skills necessary to communicate effectively in a courteous, professional, and tactful manner. Must be able to accept responsibility, manage authority and maintain confidentiality of information. Ability to function independent of constant supervision and exercise physical and emotional restraint under stressful conditions.
