PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public agencies as required. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials, maintain entry records, and report suspicious persons, vehicles, or conditions according to site procedures. Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity logs, and maintain professional interactions with government staff, visitors, and law enforcement personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least one year of security-related experience. Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. An armed guard card and/or license is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
