D Shift Rotating 12 hour Nights 6 pm - 6am What we need: Responsible for monitoring traffic in and out of complex, monitor parking lots, and patrol plant and office complex. What you'll do: Monitor and control entry/exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles at facility. Contact supervisors or employees by phone to announce visitors. Log all required vehicles entering/exiting grounds and direct them as necessary. Check truck seals on container trucks as required. Monitor and provide parking control for office complex and plant areas. Keep dock areas clear for trucks. Distribute applications for employment to prospective employees. Answer phone outside of normal business hours and direct calls as needed. Assist in keeping work areas in a clean orderly manner. Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision Follow all established standard operating procedures Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary Perform other tasks assigned by management

Type of Experience and Knowledge:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Competencies:

Interpersonal skills and judgement skills. Pays attention to details. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral Must be able to read and write legibly. Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations. Must be able to motivate and work well with others. Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and climb stairs. Occasionally required to look at reports. Must be able to work 8-12 hr shifts either day or night, weekdays or weekends as scheduled. This position has the responsibility and authority to report to management any safety problems, and potential problems encountered while performing the job. This position has the responsibility of the quality and safety of his/her own output. Work in an office environment. Occasionally work in normal industrial environment with inherent background noise, dirt, humidity, and temperature variations.
