Job Description
Job Summary :
The 2nd Shift Campus Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Campus Security Officers for their shift and the management of physical security systems at Trilith LIVE. This role ensures the safety of guests, staff, and property by maintaining high standards of security compliance.Responsibilities/Duties :
- Supervise and support a team of security officers, ensuring consistent coverage and performance
- Conduct shift briefings, ensuring all officers are prepared for their shift and receive any pass on information
- Ensure compliance with venue safety and security protocols and emergency procedures
- Receive/screen all radio communication, text messages, and phone calls while providing accurate information for dispatching the appropriate department(s) during events
- Monitor and manage physical security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
- Respond to real time emergency situations, such as breaches, alarms, or guest incidents
- Ensure security officers are trained to utilize 24/7 Software to document all incidents and dispatch resources as needed
- Conduct regular roving patrols to inspect doors, gates, locks, and other physical barriers to ensure integrity and functionality
- Maintain and troubleshoot security equipment
- Assist in the development of security policies and procedures, including training Qualifications
- 2-4 year college degree or combination of education/relevant experience
- Minimum (3) years of experience in physical security, people management, facility protection, or related roles
- Familiar with security systems such as CCTV and access control
- Proven ability to lead or supervise part time staff
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing situations
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Essential Functions:
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required for events and 24-hour security operations
- Position will require standing, walking, and lifting for long periods of time
- Potential exposure to external elements
- This position is designated as an "essential employee" and may be required to stay beyond regular work hours and/or report in from off-duty to assist with minimum staffing coverage
