We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Unarmed Security Officer to join our team and oversee the protection of a warehouse parking lot in Forest Park, GA.

Job Summary:

The Unarmed Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by monitoring premises, controlling access, conducting regular patrols, and responding to incidents. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to handle potential security threats effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Patrol Duties:

Conduct regular patrols of the entire site, including perimeters, to deter unauthorized individuals and identify potential security risks.

Surveillance Monitoring:

Utilize surveillance equipment to observe and report any suspicious activities or safety hazards.

Incident Response:

Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, coordinating with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.

Equipment and Material Protection:

Safeguard materials, tools, and equipment from theft or vandalism by maintaining a visible security presence.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, observations, and any incidents, providing detailed reports as required.

Safety Enforcement:

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures, addressing any violations promptly.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.

Skills:

Strong observational and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. Basic knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods; must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
