Airport Security Officer:
Patrol Response in Hilo, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic airport location supporting government operations. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to travelers, visitors, and staff. Position Type:
Full Time Pay Rate:
$22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

PM Requirements:
Valid Driver's License (+1 years) 1+ years of Security Experience 18+ years of age Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and observe activity in designated areas, documenting security-related events, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior according to site procedures. Support public-facing operations by giving directions, answering questions, and assisting with orderly movement of people while following post instructions and government location protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
A guard card and/or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
