Job Summary If you're interested in an Expert Level Security Officer job, then this is the best role for you! The Security Officer is responsible for protecting personnel, facilities, and property through patrols, access control, and emergency response activities. Job Description Patrol buildings, grounds, and designated work areas to ensure safety and security. Monitor and control access at guardhouse/gate entry points. Perform foot patrols and mobile patrols throughout the facility. Respond to emergencies and provide CPR when required. Observe and report suspicious activities, incidents, or safety hazards. Complete routine security inspections and documentation. Operate company vehicles while performing patrol duties. Follow established security procedures and site protocols. Work under general supervision while exercising sound judgment during security operations. Support 24-hour security coverage as scheduled. Skills Required Knowledge of standard security concepts, practices, and procedures. Strong observation and situational awareness skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to respond effectively during emergencies. Sound judgment and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Basic report writing and documentation skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Flexibility to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed. Education/Training/Certifications High school diploma or equivalent. Active Hawaii Guard Card is required. Candidates without an active card will not be considered. CPR certification or willingness to maintain CPR readiness (preferred). Entry-level (1-3 years) to mid-level (4-6 years) security experience, with 4-6 years preferred. Additional Requirements Must be able to pass drug screenings and criminal background checks Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Three possible shifts based on business needs: 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM 3:00 PM
- 11:30 PM 11:30 PM
- 8:00 AM No guaranteed shift assignment.
