Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in Council Bluffs, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology and data infrastructure location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns. Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site-specific procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting the continuity of technology operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
