  • Temporary, Contract Job Overview We are seeking energetic and vigilant 1099 Event Security professionals to ensure the safety and security of various events.
As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment by monitoring event premises, managing access control, and responding swiftly to any incidents. Your proactive approach and strong attention to detail will help create a secure atmosphere for attendees, staff, and vendors alike. This role offers flexible, paid opportunities for individuals committed to delivering exceptional security services at dynamic events. Duties Conduct thorough pat downs, purse checks, and ID checks while placing wristbands and or "X" for underage. Respond promptly to emergencies by following established procedures, including administering first aid or CPR when necessary Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of equipment or barriers to support event setup and security measures Utilize security tools like Taser, firearm handling (where permitted), basic first-aid, and other emergency response equipment effectively Enforce compliance with all security regulations and policies while de-escalating conflicts through conflict management and conflict de-escalation techniques Prior experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use is preferred; ongoing training in emergency response procedures is a plus Handling parking vehicles when necessary Crowd controlling ensuring the safety of all patrons After event clean-up (when permitted) Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally and calmly Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during events.
