Job Description

This position oversees and implements university safety and security policies to create a safe and secure environment for the university community both day-to-day and during event operations. This position also plays a key role in establishing and strengthening relationships with on-campus and off-campus stakeholders through providing exemplary customer service. This is an essential position that may be called upon in the event of an emergency and/or university closure.
Duties may include:
Conduct general security patrol on campus and at events and report emergencies to university, city or state officials Assist with Safe Walks, extra patrol requests, building lockouts and on-call notifications Enforce university alcohol policies Monitor access control, check credentials, check tickets and enforce clear bag requirements Other duties as assigned
