PORT SECURITY OFFICER

•South Side $19.00/hour | Full-Time Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday | 5:00 AM
•5:00 PM We are hiring professional and dependable Security Officers for a secure port facility on Chicago's South Side. This is a full-time position with a consistent 12-hour schedule in a controlled-access environment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Active TWIC Card
•
REQUIRED
Active Illinois PERC Card Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Strong communication and report-writing skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to consistently follow post orders and site procedures
TWIC Card:
An active TWIC is required for this position. Candidates with strong, relevant security experience who are willing to obtain a TWIC may be considered for TWIC reimbursement assistance .
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Port, gate access, warehouse, logistics, or industrial security Access control and credential verification 20-Hour Unarmed Security Training Certificate Valid driver's license
RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor and control access to the facility Verify credentials for employees, visitors, vendors, and authorized personnel Conduct interior and exterior patrols Complete accurate activity and incident reports Respond appropriately to security incidents and emergencies Follow site-specific procedures and post orders Maintain a safe, secure, and professional environment
