PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency responders as needed. Operate authorized equipment, including assigned firearms, in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, training, and Allied Universal policies. Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and promptly, following site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR certification is preferred. An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
