As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver
  • 1st Shift in Milan, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and support a welcoming environment while demonstrating Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or hazards. Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials as directed, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity. Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Experience with alarm panels is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
